About Paul Heneghan

Paul Heneghan

CFP FPFS Certs CII (MP & ER)

With over 25 years in the financial services industry, I have achieved the highest financial planning qualifications. I hold the industry leading Chartered Financial Planner (CFP designation). I am also honoured to hold the FPFS (Fellow of The Personal Finance Society), the most prestigious title in UK Financial Planning and the highest designation awarded by the PFS.

About

I have focused on developing expert knowledge within pension planning and giving advice on maximising pensions.I hold an advanced pension transfer qualification (G60) awarded by the CII and I have also been awarded the prestigious Personal Finance Society Pension Transfer Gold Standard. The Gold Standard is a voluntary code of good practice for safeguarded and defined benefit pension transfer advice, based around a set of principles. Firms can adopt and promote this standard and principles, so consumers can better understand and find good advice, and be confident they are dealing with a firm that is going beyond minimum requirements when giving financial advice.

I also have expertise in dealing with vulnerable clients, those who have been widowed, going through a divorce or needing care. I hold the Society of Later Life Advisers Accreditation (SOLLA) which means that I am a specialist in this field.

As the Principal of Sterling Wealth Management, I promote the development of lifelong relationships with clients, helping them to secure the financial futures of themselves and their families. I can provide you with bespoke wealth management solutions and advice that can meet your needs both now and in the future.

I was referred to Paul via a friend who had recently transferred his pension to a private fund. Paul and the team at St. James's Place made the process understandable and simple. Many thanks.
